Pottery made by hand is very different to mass produced ceramics. You might notice throwing lines, glaze specks or drips, inconsistencies in symmetry, and all these things make each piece individual and this is one of the reasons why people love handmade ceramics. I like to make functional items designed to be held, used and enjoyed time and time again. I love leaving the raw clay unglazed to fully appreciate the tactile nature of the clay as you hold the cup between your hands. I hope my cups will enhance your coffee or tea ritual, helping you to pause to appreciate the moment.

Each piece is hand made by me and is unique, one of a kind. No batch runs, no two objects the same. The nature of mixing clays means that each pattern is unique to that piece. My goal is to produce modern tableware and homeware with a contemporary design. Shapes are organic, textures raw, colours earthy.

Although these items can go in the dishwasher, I recommend hand washing when possible. Dishwasher tablets can contain harsh chemicals which could, over time, discolour the natural raw clay
However, they are dishwasher proof but to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is better.

If you see something you like but it’s not in stock, please feel free to get in touch. I can usually make you something similar (but not identical) but please bear in mind that a custom order will take at least 6-8 weeks.

With handmade vases and jugs please place them on water resistant surfaces, or a mat or coaster. Most pieces are unglazed on the bottom and, although they are glazed on the inside, some water evaporation could occur.
I hand finish the bases of my items by buffing and sanding to make them as smooth as possible. However, a sensible precaution is to lift, not drag or push, your piece when placing it to avoid any scratching on your surface.
Matt glazes can stain over time from strong substances such as coffee or tea. Please avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners. Instead try a baking soda paste or a denture tablet

About me
I’m a ceramic artist, creating mainly functional pottery inspired by the beauty of simple intentional living. Working with mixed clays and earthy colours, I make pieces that celebrate natural textures, organic forms and the quiet imperfections that make handmade objects unique.
Each piece is made slowly by hand, using a potters wheel or hand formed. If you own one of my pieces I hope it will bring a little more calm and connection to everyday rituals.
Thank you for supporting handmade and for giving my work a place in your home
